SimCity 4 – Windows Review

SimCity 4 is a very fun, somewhat addictive game. My only problem with it (and other games in the Sims series’) is that it somewhat frequently crashes, which is why I rated it 4/5. It’s really inconvienent and you lose everythng that wasn’t saved up until that point, so I’d recommend frequent game saving, especially after anything big you complete in the game. It’s somewhat impossible to run a successful, big city without the cheat codes, which you can easily google for. But a cheat for a 00 is ctrl+x, then type ‘weaknesspays’ in the green box at the top left corner. the cheat to unlock all the gifts is ctrl=x, then type ‘you don’t deserve it’ in the green box at the top left…..But the .99 price tag is an excellent price and the shipping wasn’t bad either. However I’d recommend SimCity 4 Deluxe for more features.

Casio Men’s MTP1165A-1C Silver-Tone Analog Bracelet Watch Review

This watch is extremely well put together and very well priced. Some people put a great deal of time, money, and energy into looking for nice dress watches, but for everyone else there’s this Casio. Some other reviewers have mentioned that the watch is one tone, not brushed steel but mine is, in fact, two tone metal. The outer links are a very bright, reflective steel while the inner portion of each link has a soft brushed pattern, making it less reflective but equally bright.

The important components for those looking for a dress watch are the build quality, looks, and ability to keep the time. This watch does all three – I’ve had no problems whatsoever with the build (the band scratches slightly over time but the watch face shows no signs of wear), the watch looks rather stunning (the four time markers on the watch make it look far more stylish and pricy than it is), and it has no trouble keeping perfect time, though only 4 time markers does make it difficult to read the precise time.

For anyone looking for a great watch – casual or business style – for themselves or as a gift, I highly recommend this one. It offers the style of a higher end dress-watch with one tenth of the price.

Guitar Hero Smash Hits Review

Bringing games from the first three guitar heroes and updating them for the full band support of the new games was an excellent idea. As a Guitar hero fan who missed out on the PS2 Guitar heroes, this game was a great buy. Guitar Hero Smash Hits had not only brought back songs for fans of the first three guitar heroes but brought the old songs to the younger Guitar Hero players who didn’t play the first two on the Playstation 2. Though some say this should be a downloadable expansion pack, the GH games have price drops usually within a couple of months, plus there would have been the possibillity that the number of songs one wished to download would have exceeded the pricing. Now at dollars, this game is practicaly a steal considering how many of these songs I love to play both on guitar and Drums. A must buy for fans of Guitar Hero, especially with the dropped price.
